PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT AND MODERATION OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION PRACTICALS IN DISTANCE LEARNING (CORRESPONDENCE) PROGRAMMES

Abstract

This paper is on Development and Moderation of Physical Education Practical Programme in a Distance Learning (Correspondence) Programme. The paper discusses the peculiarities that exist between the regular students and the correspondence students which is centered on age and accessibilities of facilities and equipment for instruction and practicals. The paper stated that the regular students are younger and assess almost all that will help their learning including the environment, but the correspondence students do not have all the luxuries. The paper also considers what it means to develop a programme and the moderation of a practical programme of the correspondence students. The paper made personal observations that will help the lecturers and coordinators in the distance learning programme and the corresponding students, for fruitful and rewarding correspondent learning interactions in a good learning environment.
